Apple And Pear Streusel Pie

Ingredients

For the Streusel topping:

  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup light brown sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 4 tablespoons cold unsalted butter, cut into pieces

For the pie:

  • 1 refrigerated or frozen 9-inch deep-dish pie crust (see above)
  • 3 Granny Smith or other tart apples, peeled, cored, and sliced 1/4-inch thick
  • 3 firm but ripe pears, peeled, cored, and sliced 1/4-inch thick
  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon cold butter, cut into small pieces
