Ingredients

For the cake:

For the frosting:

  • 4 8-ounce packages cream cheese, softened
  • 2 sticks unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 pounds (about 8 cups) confectioners' sugar
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
