3. 3/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons heavy cream
4. 2tablespoons unsalted butter
5. 1tablespoon brandy

CARAMELIZED APPLES

1. 2tablespoons unsalted butter
2. 2tablespoons light brown sugar
3. 3large Granny Smith apples—peeled, cored and cut into 8 wedges each
4. 1/8 teaspoon cinnamon
5. 2tablespoons water
6. Vanilla ice cream, for serving
