  2. 4 cups canned low-sodium chicken broth or homemade stock
  3. 2 tablespoons cooking oil
  4. 1 onion, chopped
  5. 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  6. 1/2 cup dry sherry
  7. 1 teaspoon fresh-ground black pepper
  8. 2 avocados, preferably Hass, cut into 1/2-inch dice
  9. 1/4 cup chopped cilantro or flat-leaf parsley
  10. 6 radishes, halved and sliced thin
  11. 2 tablespoons lime juice
