7. 1 cup buttermilk
8. 2 large eggs
9. 2 tablespoons red food coloring (four 1/4-ounce bottles)
10. 1 teaspoon distilled white vinegar
11. 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
12. Confectioners' sugar, for serving

PECAN PRALINE

1. 1 cup sugar
2. 1/4 cup water
3. 1 cup pecan halves, toasted
