- 1 1/3 cups heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
MERINGUE
- 4 large egg whites, at room temperature
- Pinch of cream of tartar
- 1/2 cup superfine sugar
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
