- Three 3-inch cinnamon sticks, broken in half
- 1 large egg, beaten with 1 tablespoon of water
PLUM SAUCE
- 2 1/4 pounds Italian prune plums, or other red or black plums, pitted and cut into 1/2-inch wedges
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons Armagnac
