Apple-Cranberry Crumb Tart

Ingredients

DOUGH

  1. 1 stick (8 tablespoons) unsalted butter, at room temperature
  2. 1/4 cup plus 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  3. 1 egg yolk
  4. 1 2/3 cups cake flour, sifted

FILLING

  1. 1 1/2 pounds tart apples, such as Greening or Granny Smith
  2. 1 cup fresh cranberries, rinsed and picked over
  3. 2 tablespoons plus 2 teaspoons all-purpose flour
  4. 2/3 cup granulated sugar
  5. 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

TOPPING

  1. 1 cup rolled oats
  2. 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  3. 2/3 cup (packed) light brown sugar
  4. 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
