Ingredients

FLAT BREADS

  1. 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  2. 1/2 cup minced onion
  3. 1/4 cup warm water
  4. 1 1/2 teaspoons sugar
  5. One 1/4-ounce envelope active dry yeast
  6. 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  7. 1/2 teaspoon salt
  8. 1/4 cup dry white wine

ROMESCO SAUCE

  1. 1 medium red bell pepper
  2. 1 cup salted roasted almonds, chopped (4 ounces)
  3. 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
  4. 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
  5. 1 large garlic clove, chopped
  6. 1/2 cup extra-virgin olive oil
  7. Salt

SHRIMP

  1. 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  2. 24 medium shrimp (about 3/4 pound), shelled and deveined
  3. Salt and freshly ground pepper
