- 1/2 cup light corn syrup
- 3/4 teaspoon cornstarch
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup whole unblanched almonds, toasted, coarsely chopped
- 4 ounces bittersweet or semisweet chocolate, chopped
- Whipped cream
