• 3/4 cup finely chopped walnuts (about 3 ounces)
• 1/2 cup all purpose flour
• 3 tablespoons (packed) golden brown sugar
• 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
• 3 tablespoons chilled unsalted butter, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
• 3/4 cup sugar
• 1/4 cup cornstarch
• 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
• 1 1/2 pounds plums (about 5 large), halved, pitted, cut into 1/2-inch-thick wedges

• 1 large egg beaten with 2 teaspoons water (for glaze)
