- Pinch ground cloves
- 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
- 1 1/4 cups reduced-sodium beef broth
- 3/4 cup diced carrots
- 1/2 cup green peas, fresh or frozen (if frozen, do not thaw)
- 2 teaspoons tomato paste
- 1/2 cup grated sharp Cheddar cheese
