- 1 cup Milk
- 1⁄2 cup Sugar
- 3 tablespoons Unbleached All-Purpose Flour, or Instant ClearJel powder (King Arthur Flour)
- 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
- 1 cup Apple, peeled, grated
- 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice
- 1 cup Confectioner's (Icing) Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla
- 1 tablespoon Water, to 2 tablespoons water, or 2-3 tablespoons heavy cream
