  • 1 tablespoon Granular Lecithin, heaping (optional)
  • 3 tablespoons Sugar
  • 1 12 teaspoons Instant Yeast
  • 1 14 teaspoons Salt
  • 3 tablespoons Butter
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla, or Sweet Dough Flavor or Princess Cake Flavor (King Arthur Flour)
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 12 cup Sugar
  • 3 tablespoons Unbleached All-Purpose Flour, or Instant ClearJel powder (King Arthur Flour)
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1 cup Apple, peeled, grated
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice
  • 1 cup Confectioner's (Icing) Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
  • 1 tablespoon Water, to 2 tablespoons water, or 2-3 tablespoons heavy cream
