Ingredients
- 5 sprigs Fresh Herbs, each, Basil, Parsley, Oregano. Create a Spice Bag with Cheesecloth, scissor cutting the herbs, omitting the stems
- 13 heads Garlic, Cloved, Skinned, Very Finely Chopped
- 1 1⁄2 cups Water
- 1⁄2 cup Italian White Wine Vinegar, Alesi is a good brand, but you may also substitute your favorite White Wine Vinegar
- 1 1⁄2 cups Dry Riesling, Select the best Riesling Wine that you can, because you will then get to drink the rest of the bottle. I have learned that price does not always determine a good bottle of wine. A dry riesling is better for this recipe than a sweeter one
- 1 Lemon, Juiced, and Lemon Peel Grated. The use of a microplane brand tool is fabulous to gain a zest that accomplishes a great quality, with no, or very little of the pith.
- 3 1⁄2 cups Granulated Sugar
- 6 ounces Liquid Pectin, Ball Brand, Do not try to substitute a powdered pectin for this recitpe
