Six Week Refrigerated Bran Muffin Mix Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 quart Buttermilk
  • 4 cups Kellogg's All-bran Original Cereal
  • 5 cups Flour
  • 5 teaspoons Baking Soda
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 cups Boiling Water
  • 2 cups Post 100% Bran Cereal or Nabisco 100% All-bran Cereal, i prefer the post, but it can sometimes be hard to find
  • 1 cup Solid Crisco Shortening, plus 2 tablespoons (don't use butter flavored crisco)
  • 3 cups White Sugar
  • 4 Eggs, beaten
