Tropical Mango Pineapple Salsa


2 fresh mangoes, diced
1/4 cup pineapple, chopped finely
1/4 red bell pepper, coarsely chopped
1/4 green bell pepper, coarsely chopped
1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and minced finely (optional)
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
1 clove garlic, minced
1 shallot, finely diced (or use about 2 tablespoons diced red onion)
2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro or parsley
2 teaspoons fresh lime or lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
Salt and pepper, to taste


This Salsa Is Very Good Atop Grilled Fish Or Meats Or Simply With Chips.  I Use Fruit Salsa To Top My Taco Salad As An Alternative To Taco Sauce., Recipes From GourmetSleuth
