Ingredients
Take about 6 or 8 Granny Smith apples (or your favorite cooking apple), Peel, core, and slice them into thin slices.Combine about 1/2 cup brown sugar and 1 TBLSP cinnamon and coat apples with this. Pour apples into a 9' pan, or a 12' pan, whatever you've got. Take your cake mix, and sprinkle on top to cover nicely. Make it about 1/4' to 1/2' thick, whatever looks good to you. Melt 1 stick butter and drizzle over top of cake mix, trying to evenly coat cake mix, but not necessarily getting every bit covered. Bake at 350F about 25 - 30 minutes, until topping is golden and apples are bubbly. If your apples start to bubble before your topping is brown, you can always run it under the broiler for a moment to brown up the top. This is soooo good, especially with some ice cream on top!!Description
