1/3 cup dried cherries
For the Mustard Dressing:6 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
Freshly-ground black pepper to taste
1/2 teaspoon grainy Dijon mustard
kosher salt to taste
2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
For the Sweet amd Spicy Pralines:1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper, or more to taste
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
1/3 cup pecans, coarsely chopped
3 tablespoons sugar
