For the Grain: 4 cups mixed organic whole grain flakes, such as oat, kamut, barley and wheat 1 cup sliced natural almonds For the Granola: 2 tablespoons cold unsalted butter, cut into 6 pieces 3/4 cup all-purpose flour 2 tablespoons sugar Pinch of salt 1/3 cup pure maple syrup 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract 1/2 teaspoon pure almond extract 1/2 cup golden raisins 1/2 cup dried cranberries
