Ingredients

  • 500g stewing beef such as chuck steak or gravy beef
  • 2 tbsp of Homebrand pure olive oil
  • 4 small onions, halved
  • 1 tbsp Homebrand plain flour
  • 1 1/2 cups red wine
  • 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 cup of water
  • salt and pepper
  • 8 baby washed potatoes
  • 2 medium carrots, cut into thick slices
  • 1 punnet cherry tomatoes
