Baklava~ Altered

Ingredients

teaspoon (5- inch piece) cinnamon stick, broken into 2 to 3 pieces or 2 ground

tablespoons Allspice
3 tablespoons brown sugar

ounces blanched almonds

ounces raw or roasted pistachio


cup sugar

pound phyllo dough, thawed

ounces clarified unsalted butter, melted


For the syrup:

I would recommed only using 1 cup of the water, honey, and sugar****
