  • 1 bunch baby (or Dutch) carrots, trimmed and scrubbed
  • ¾ tsp ground ginger
  • 1 tsp ground coriander
  • ½ tsp allspice
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 3 cloves
  • 1½ cups low salt vegetable stock
  • 2 Granny Smith apples or 2 Royal Gala apples
