Ingredients
- 2½ cups plain flour
- 1½ tsp baking powder
- 2 large eggs
- ⅓ cup milk, buttermilk or sour cream
- 250g butter, chilled and cut into cubes
- 2 Tbsp olive oil, plus 1 tsp extra
- Savoury
- ¼ tsp freshly ground black pepper
- 1 tsp flaked salt
- Sweet
- 1½ cups caster sugar or icing sugar (icing sugar will give a softer textured biscuit)
