Steamboat (shabu Shabu)

Ingredients

  • Boiled Rice for 6
  • 1 qty each of the Dipping Sauces for Asian Recipes
  • 1 qty each of the Marinades for Proteins
  • 1 qty Mushroom Stock for Steamboats
  • 300g beef fillet steak, sliced
  • 300g chicken tenderloins, sliced
  • 300g pork fillet, sliced
  • 700g squid (calamari), cut into rings
  • 12 king prawns, raw
  • 400g white fish
  • Various Asian greens washed, tough parts of stalk removed, and cut into 10cm lengths (e.g. Chinese cabbage, hearts of cabbage (choy sum), spinach or lettuce)
  • Button mushroom, sliced
  • Cellophane noodles, soaked for 20 minutes in warm water, then served into bowls for each guest
  • 1 bunch scallions, cut into 10cm lengths
  • Fish sauce
  • Light soy sauce
  • Large red chillies, finely sliced
  • Lemon wedges for serving
