My Slightly Healthier Brownies

Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoons apple sauce
  • 150 g caster sugar
  • 2 egg whites
  • 55g butter, melted
  • 4 tablespoons buttermilk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 teaspoon coffee essence (made by Camp)
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 2 tablespoons plain flour
  • 2 tablespoons wholemeal flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 60g walnuts, chopped (optional)
  • 85g chocolate chips (optional)

Description

These Brownies Are A Result Of Adjusting A Normal Brownie Recipe So That It's A Bit Healthier But Still Nice And Moist. You Can Make Them As Buns Or A Cake, Too.
