  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 3/4 cup (115g) packed brown sugar
  • 1/3 (85ml) cup canola oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup (125g) plain flour
  • 3/4 cup (95g) wholemeal flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cardamom
  • 1/2 cup (60g) chopped walnuts, toasted
