Ingredients

  • 3 C. water
  • 1 1/2 C. uncooked white rice
  • 1 Tbs. dark sesame oil
  • 2 tsp. canola oil
  • cayenne pepper
  • salt and pepper
  • one 8-oz. pkg raw, cleaned, med. shrimp, tails removed, defrosted and patted dry
  • 1 med. yellow onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1 sm. jar pimento slices, well drained
  • one 8-oz. bag broccoli florets, steamed and drained
