1 to 1 1/2 pounds beef top round steak sliced and cut into strips 1/2 -inch wide by 1/2-inches long
1 clove garlic, pressed or finely chopped
1/2 teaspoon sliced candied ginger, or 1/4 teaspoon ginger
1/2 cup water
1 teaspoon instant beef bouillon
2 cups 1-inch chunks green pepper
1 medium onion, thinly sliced
2 large stems celery, sliced diagonally
1 jar (2-ounces) chopped pimiento
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
2 teaspoons corn starch dissolved in 2 tablespoons soy sauce
