1 pound bulk pork sausage
1 cup chopped celery
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 clove garlic, minced
2 10 3/4-ounce cans condensed tomato soup
1 17-ounce can whole kernel corn
1 10-ounce package frozen lima beans
1 pickled jalapeno pepper, rinsed, seeded, and chopped (optional)
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 teaspoon dried oregano,crushed
2 cups cubed cheddar or monterey jack cheese
