- 2 dozen fresh basil leaves, stems removed
- 2 Tbsp pine nuts
- 4 Tbsp sliced almonds
- 5 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic
- 2 small piece of fresh Parmesan cheese (5 Tbsp grated Parmesan cheese can be substituted)
- 1 package fettucini
- 1 tsp salt
