  • 1/4 cup bourbon or orange juice
  • 6 large eggs, separated
  • 3/4 cup light brown sugar, packed
  • 2 1/4 cups canned pumpkin (not pumpkin pie filling)
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 3/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 3/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream, whipped to stiff peaks
  • Spiced Whipped Cream:
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 3 Tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • Crystallized ginger, snipped, for garnish (optional)

Description
