- 3 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper
- 2 cloves crushed garlic
- 1 tbsp snipped basil, fresh or 1 tsp dried basil1 tbsp sesame seed2 tsp snipped fresh dill or 1/2 tsp dried dill weed
- 2 tbsp snipped chives, fresh
- 1 8-12 oz pkg pasta cooked al dente
- 1/2 lb fresh broccoli florets, blanched and chilled
- 1/2 lb fresh snow pea pods, blanched and chilled
- 1 lg red pepper, cut into bite size pieces1 pt cherry tomatoes
- 1/2 cup chopped parsley
- 2 8 oz cans water chestnuts, drained
