Asian Spring Rolls


  • 4 to 6 ounces of either boneless pork or boneless chicken, or peeled baby shrimp
  • 3 teaspoons coriander
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons toasted sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons sliced ginger or 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons ginger-infused soy sauce
  • 1 lb button or baby portobello mushrooms, washed and diced small
  • 1 16-oz bag cole slaw mix
  • 12-16 spring roll wrappers
  • 1 egg, slightly beaten
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • Duck sauce and/or soy sauce (for dipping)


These Spring Rolls Are Easily "fried" In The Oven, Rather Than In A Deep Fat Fryer. Inside They Contain Meat, Cole Slaw Mix, Mushrooms, And Seasonings.
