  • 1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley, divided
  • 1 cup champagne
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 pound medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • Chopped fresh parsley, for garnish
  • Cooked pasta, rice or toasted bread slices, as accompaniments
