Ingredients
- One 4-5 lb. package of chicken thighs (pull off skin and fat -
I cook the skins in the micro to save for dog/cat treats).
Water to cover
4-5 onions, chopped
5-10 cloves of garlic (2 - 3 tablespoons minced)
1 Tbsp. each (dried ): basil, tarragon, and rosemary (or an
8" sprig of rosemary and basil from your kitchen garden
1/2 tsp. ginger
1/2 tsp. sirachua sauce (or any chile sauce or red pepper)
Fresh ground pepper to taste
(if you add salt you would add it here)
3 Tbsp. lemon juice
8 - 10 carrots, sliced crosswise
4-5 ribs of celery, sliced about 1/3 in. thick
1/2 lb. cauliflower florets
Optional (3 sheets of Nori in pieces)
NO potatos or tomatos
Other vegies as desired like red, lima, or garbanzo beans, summer squash, broccolii, etc.
Freezes wonderfully!
DUMPLINGS:
Mix together:
1 cup oat flour
1 cup wheat flour
1 1/2 Tblsp. baking powder
Add:
The reserved skim fat from the chicken
Almond, Soy, or, Flax milk a little at a time until the dough is about like play dough.
-When you cook them, if the next ball would touch another one, dunk the ones it would touch so they won't stick together.
