Golden Sesame Tofu

Ingredients

    .5 cups uncooked rice
    1 lb extra firm tofu, drained and cubed
    2 tbs canola oil
    6 cloves garlic, peeled and diced
    2" fresh ginger root, peeled and diced
    1 c. unsweetened pineapple juice
    3 tbs. sugar (or other preferred sweetner like honey)
    6 tbs. apple cider vinegar
    2 tbs. tamari
    1.5 tbs. cornstarch
    .5 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
    1 head of broccoli, cut into bite sized pieces
    1 tbs sesame seeds
