    1 cup buttermilk
    3/4 cup butter, melted
    3 tbsp molasses
    1 1/2 cups wheat bran
    1 cup flour
    1 tsp baking soda
    1/2 tsp baking powder
    1/2 tsp salt
    1 cup chopped dried fruit (apricots, cherries, etc.) or raisins or dried cranberries
