Angie's Stuffed Peppers


    4 large green bell peppers
    1 pound of lean ground beef
    3/4 cup white long grain rice (uncooked - not instant)
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1 medium onion, finely chopped
    1 egg
    1/4 tsp black pepper
    1 1/2 tsp salt
    1 46 ounce can of low sodium V-8
