    Bouillon Beef Sodium Free Dry (1pkt/4g/10cals/serv), 8 serving
    Water, tap, 16 cup (8 fl oz), more as needed to make this more stewlike than souplike

    spices to taste, discard seasoning package, for example:
    1 Tbs onion powder
    1 Tsp garlic powder
    a bay leaf
    1/2 Tsp oregano
    1 Tsp cajun, red chili or cracked pepper for a snap if you like spicy
