Ingredients

    For the dry mix:
    2 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
    1⁄4 cup toasted wheat germ
    3⁄4 cup wheat or oat bran
    ½ cup flaxseeds, ground
    ½ tsp cinnamon
    For serving:
    1⁄4 cup water
    1⁄4 cup skim milk or low-fat plain yogurt
    ½ cup strawberries, blueberries, bananas,
    mangoes, or apples (optional)
    1 tbsp chopped pecans, walnuts, or
    almonds (optional)
    1 tsp honey or maple syrup (optional)
