Sherie's Stir-fried Veggies With Steak, Chicken, & Shrimp


    6 oz chicken, cooked and cut into thin strips
    4 oz lean steak, cooked and cut into thin strips
    8 oz shrimp, peeled and deveined (can use precooked, salad shrimp0
    4 Tbsp olive or grapeseed oil
    1 small onion, chopped
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1/2 C carrots, slivered or matchsticks
    1 small baby zucchini, chopped
    1 small baby yellow squash, chopped
    1/2 C fresh or frozen asparagus, chopped
    1/2 C broccoli florets
    3 C shredded cabbage or Chinese cabbage
    1 can (8 oz) sliced water chestnuts, quartered
    1 C snow peas, fresh or frozen
    1/2 C slivered almonds (optional)
    1/4 C lite soy sauce
