Whole Wheat Calzones With Meat And Veggies

Ingredients

    1.5 cups flour
    1 cup whole wheat flour
    1 cup warm water
    Yeast - dry active, .25 oz (1 packet)
    1 tsp sugar (not artificial sweetener)
    .5 tsp sea salt
    .5 cup fat free Ricotta cheese
    1 cup 2% milkfat Mozzarella Cheese (shredded)
    1.5 serving Hormel pillow pack Pepperoni (about 20 slices, chopped)
    1 tbsp olive oil
    1 egg white or 1/8 cup egg beaters
    3 tbsp parmesan cheese
    2 tsp garlic powder
    1 tbsp dried basil

    Veggies*
    1 cup total of whatever veggies you prefer, chopped (I used onion, green pepper, mushroom, and olives)

    *Optional variations: Red Onion, Broccoli, chicken, bacon and cheddar; Cauliflower, Zucchini, Snow Peas, Carrots and Leeks with tarragon and Swiss; Spinach and Artichoke with pesto; Be creative! Anything works really.

    Sauce for dipping
