    Salt & pepper
    2 Tsp olive oil
    1/2 lb asparagus trimmed of tough ends, spears cut on the bias into 1/4 in pieces
    1 med shallot, minced (about 3 tbs)
    4 oz deli style baked ham, 1/4 in thinck cut into 1/2" cubes (about 3/4cup)
    3 oz Gruyere cheese, cit into 1/4"cubes (about 3/4 cup)
