    2 medium apples, peeled if desired, cored and chopped
    2 tablespoons water
    Topping:
    3 tablespoons brown sugar
    3 tablespoons chopped pecans
    1 tablespoon butter or margarine
    1 teaspoon flour
    1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
