Apricot Pound Cake


    Separate eggs and whip the whites until stiff peaks form. Combine cake mix, 1 cup nectar, oil, vanilla and egg yolks in large mixing bowl and beat until smooth. Fold the egg whites into the batter. Pour into greased and floured bundt pan and bake at 350 for 45 minutes until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
    Place the pan on a wire rack and cool for 10 minutes before removing the cake from the pan. Combine powdered sugar and remainder of the nectar and glaze the cake while still warm.
