Corn Chowder - Fannie Farmer Cookbook

Ingredients

    2-inch cube salt pork (3 oz)
    1 onion, chopped fine
    4 med. potatoes, peeled and diced
    3 c. water
    2 c. corn kernels (frozen OK)
    3 c. milk (1% OK - will be thin)
    3 Tbsp. butter
    salt to taste (1/2 tsp.)
    fresh ground pepper to taste (1/2 tsp)

Description

Note: All Except 2 Tbsp. Of The Rendered Salt Pork Fat Is Discarded; Since My MIL Made The Recipe, I Don't Know How Much Of The Pork Fat Was Discarded, So I Included All Of It In The Nutritional Data.
