1 6-ounce jar marinated artichoke hearts
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup drained pepperoncini peppers, stemmed and chopped
2 pounds uncooked ground turkey
1/3 cup finely chopped red onion
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup snipped fresh basil or 1 teaspoon dried basil, crushed
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
6 slices Monterey Jack cheese with jalapeno peppers (6 ounces)
6 sourdough rolls, split
6 lettuce leaves
2 medium tomatoes, sliced
Pepperoncini peppers (optional)
