Caramel Fondue Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 x red Delicious apples cut in wedges
  • 2 x Granny Smith apples cut in wedges
  • 1 c. apple juice
  • 2 lrg navel oranges
  • 2 x regular bananas or possibly 8 baby bananas
  • 1 med fresh pineapple peeled, cored,
  •     and cubed
  • 1 c. dry apricots
  • 4 ounce dry papaya (optional)
  • 4 ounce dry mango (optional)
  • 4 ounce dry pineapple (optional)
  • 3 c. cubed cake
  •     (either angel food or possibly lb. cake)
  • 1 lb assorted cookies
  • 1 c. heavy cream
  • 1 lb commercial caramel candies
  • 1/4 c. dark rum
