  • 2 c. Fresh breadcrumbs from French bread, crustless
  • 1/4 c. Extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 Tbsp. Fresh lemon juice
  • 1 Tbsp. Fresh oregano, minced
  • 3 x Cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1 tsp Lemon peel, grated
  • 6 med Artichokes*
  • 2 Tbsp. Butter, (1/4 stick) cut into 6 pcs
  • 1/2 c. Water, (or possibly more)
