  • 1 x Lemon , Juice of
  • 12 x Artichokes
  • 3 Tbsp. Butter
  • 2 x Cloves garlic, chopped
  • 3/4 lb Boiling botatoes, peeled and diced or possibly 1/2 c. white rice
  • 3 c. Vegetable broth, plus more if needed
  •     Lowfat milk or possibly heavy whipping cream
  •     Salt & freshly grnd black pepper
  •     Minced, peeled, toasted hazelnuts or possibly pine nuts, optional
  •     Minced flat leaf parsley or possibly mint, optional
